Hello again, Mandy here from the blog Mandy & Such sharing a few fun ideas for Valentine's Day. In the spirit of all things pink, I thought I'd put together a little round up of cute gifts for the kiddos. My husband and I aren't much for celebrating this one but we LOVE doing fun things for our children to make them feel extra special and adored on this day. After all, holidays and special occasions are just so much better with kids.
Each year for Valentine's Day, I typically pick up a few small, inexpensive wire baskets from places like Target or H&M and fill them with little goodies for my kids. I like these types of baskets because we can reuse them all over the house...from bathroom organization to toy storage so they get plenty of use in addition to just being plain cute. I always put a new book, some sweet treats and some small things like stuffed animals, sunglasses, jewelry or legos. Nothing over $20. I usually make some heart shaped pancakes and set the baskets out on the countertop for the kids to open and play with before school. It's nothing over the top but sure makes for a happy morning and hopefully some sweet memories they will treasure from their childhood. . .
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!
xoxo
